We know that breast cancer in men is a rare condition - the median incidence in over 100 cancer registries world-wide is 0.5/100,000/ year and it accounts for less than 1% of all cases of breast cancer. Read the editorial by Perkins and Middleton as appeared on BMJ 327:239-240 (2 August 2003)
